Maybe Mayfair?
April 7, 2009 by Rob Powell
For the last few years, Mayfair in London’s Westminster has prided itself on being the hedge fund capital. These secretive and complex investment vehicles that delivered huge returns for their sophisticated investors made their home in the desirable enclave bordered by Piccadilly, Regent Street, Oxford Street and Park Lane.
But with the global economic crisis and the collapse of investment banking, the hedge funds have taken a real pummelling. The net result of all this is that there’s plenty of high quality office space available and landlords are having to cut rents to fill their space. This means there are great deals to be had on office space.
So if you want an exclusive address for your firm, take a wander over to Mayfair Office Space and register your details.
Red Dwarf Guys in Berkeley Square
April 6, 2009 by Rob Powell
If you were a fan of the space based sitcom Red Dwarf, you might be interested to know that members of the crew will be in Berkeley Square at 5.15pm on Wednesday. I assume they are there to publicise the new episode of Red Dwarf that they have made for the digital cable, Dave.
I found this out via Twitter directly from Robert Llewelln. See, it is useful after all!
